Our Vision

Our vision is dedicated to creating an aviation-learning environment here in the Cayman Islands which respects and values people's diverse backgrounds and enables all who have an interest in aviation to accomplish their goals. Until now aviation students had to travel overseas for flight training, which is costly and time consuming. Now they can do their training locally, and around their schedule.

The Cayman Flying Club is a non-profit, limited local company founded in February of 1994, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of General Aviation in the Cayman Islands.

Other important purposes of the Club are: to provide well equipped, professionally maintained aircraft at the lowest reasonable cost for use by Club members and to provide ample opportunity for training development of member's proficiency and safety skills in all aspects of flying. The Cayman Flying Club at present owns one Cessna 172 aircraft for use by its members on an hourly basis. Future plans include acquisition of a high performance single and a light twin. Specific information on Club aircraft is available upon request.

Cayman Flying Club instructors all possess real-world flight experience, some with over 22,000 flight hours. Backgrounds include Cayman Airways, Air Traffic Control, Fractional and Private Jet Industries, and thousands of hours of flight instruction. Each instructor is an experienced professional dedicated to flight training and helping you meet your goals. Feel free to give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions.
